Even though the Fiesta was introduced to the European market several years ago, this subcompact is new to the U.S. market for the 2012 model year. With its unique European design, good fuel mileage and low base price, this smaller car is targeted for the younger automotive consumer market.
Ford Fiesta Exterior and Interior European Design
Available in a 4-door sedan or hatchback, the exterior of both models is aerodynamic, with a noticeable European flare design. The front end has a low-slung design and the exterior sidelines move up to the rear. The exterior colors offered will entice any young auto enthusiast. Available exterior colors include
- lime squeeze
- yellow blaze
- blue candy

The entertainment center, climate controls and standard multifunctional display with LCD screen in the center dashboard have sharp points that will appeal more to the younger automotive consumer.
The interior seating arrangements on all 2012 models are equipped with a cloth 4-way manual drivers seat, 2-way manual front passenger seat and 60/40 split split-fold rear seat. All models include 5-front and 1-rear cup holders and adjustable (front/rear) head rests.

Edmunds.com gives the 2012 Ford Fiesta an overall sparkling review. On the positive side they state that it has “sporty driving dynamics, refined yet lively engine, high fuel economy, welcoming cabin and available luxury features”. From the negative side the biggest downfalls are the amount of cargo and limited rear seat as well as the unavailability of a conventional navigation system.
